After the grand success of film related events AMMA 2007 , 2008& 2009 Asia Vision spread its wings to a yet vast area of Television sector by presenting the great idea of Asian Television Awards.
As the name denotes, Asian television awards is a noble step to recognize and honor the talents of persons working in television industry. 25 categories including News Reader, Reporter, Anchor, Actor, Actress, Director, Interviewer, Technicians etc. will be honored here for their excellence.
More than one dozen Malayalam TV channels play a major role in the Television Industry of the Gulf region. In terms of business and volume also Malayalam TV industry is the second largest Television arena in the Gulf Arab region. In 2009 April Asia Vision and Radio Asia had tested the response of television viewers reg the identification process of the best quality and content of Malayalam Television programs and related personnel's. A magical response was derived out of the exercise and more than 28000 people gathered at Sharjah cricket stadium to witness the award nite in which more than 30 TV celebrities are honored. From this energetic response the organizing committee has decided to celebrate the success of Malayalam television industry annually.
